Topic Research: Stories from Vietnam

Story #1: Vietnamese Dragon Many legends in Vietnam revolve around the mystical dragon creature. Statues of dragons can be found by temples and palaces. The legend speaks of how the king of dragonkind married a goddess who was the daughter of the birdkind king. The legend tells of how 100 eggs were hatched from which bore 100 sons, who ruled over various dynasties throughout the history of Vietnam. I plan to retell the legend from the perspective from one of the kings who were born from the 100 eggs and ruled over Vietnam. I think it'll be a interesting twist to the ancient legend. Stories from Vietnam: I'm very interested in learning more about Stories from Vietnam because my family is Vietnamese. I want to learn more about the stories from my culture, and this topic will provide a great opportunity. I currently have no previous knowledge about Vietnamese mythology and folklore, but I would like to learn more about the stories that have been passed down from generation to generation. I'm curious to learn more about the stories of the Vietnamese dragon , Thánh Gióng , and Liễu Hạnh . At this point, I have a vision of retelling the story of the Vietnamese dragon from a first-person perspective, capturing the essence of the legend from a person who lived with these mythological creatures.
