Favorite Place...OU Campus

One of the most beautiful places to be is the University of Oklahoma Norman campus right at sunset, especially before any classes begin! You can't argue that isn't a spectacle to behold!

    That sunset picture is gorgeous, Jackie! I know OU is supposed to be all about the crimson, but I love the way that the image there is totally suffused with BLUE. Week 2 Story: The Ghost of Felgar Hall, Janitor, and Robber

Once upon a time, as Felgar Hall was first being built, a terrible accident happened in the basement. A concrete pillar came crashing down and a foreman was crushed. In the coming months, the construction team decided to continue on with the building process, paving over the foreman's crushed body. His body became entombed in Room 114, buried deep within the basement of Felgar Hall. One night, as a janitor was mopping the dirty floors, he heard mumbling emanating from the door of Room 114. As he came up to the window in the door, he saw the ghost of the foreman from all those years ago. The ghost begged to be let out of his tomb that is Room 114. The Room had never been opened ever since it was sealed back all those years ago. He craved to be set free of his prison. The janitor, weary of what would happen if he set the ghost free, hesitated to open the door. The ghost assured him that no harm would befall upon him. Week 15 Story: The Huntsman

I spent my days wandering the woods, hunting for deer and boar. This was my livelihood, and with my rewards from my hunt, I provided for my lovely wife and young daughter. I dearly loved them both and did my best to care for them. One day, one of the king's messengers sent for me. I obliged to come forth, though I questioned why he would summon such a common huntsman as myself. I later learned that the queen had summoned me to do away with her step-child. She loathed the child greatly, for the child had grown to so beautiful that the queen's beauty paled in comparison. The queen bade me to lead her step-child, Snow-White, in the middle of the woods and take her heart out as a token of the treacherous deed.
